Privacy Policy

We believe communities are strengthened by trust, informed participation, and respect for the people who make them possible. That includes respecting your personal information.

Effective date: October 17, 2026

1. About this website

The Anti-Fragile Playbook ("AFP") is a collaborative community-development initiative, not a separately incorporated legal entity.

The initiative brings together work associated with Future Story Lab, 214 Alpha, Bene Esse, and related community-development activities. These organizations and initiatives have distinct identities and responsibilities.

This policy describes information collected through the AFP website and its associated inquiry forms. Other websites, applications, and services may have separate privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us, subscribe, or participate in an activity, we may receive information you choose to provide, including:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • Your organization, website, or community affiliation.
  • Information about a project, idea, or inquiry.
  • Your communication preferences and consent choices.
  • Messages and correspondence with our team.

Website and form-service providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, timestamps, and usage data necessary for operation, security, and analytics.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and requests.
  • Communicate about relevant AFP activities.
  • Coordinate community-development conversations.
  • Manage contact records and follow-up activities.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website.
  • Protect against misuse and meet legal obligations.

Marketing communications are subject to applicable law and the consent choices presented when you provide your information.

4. Shared systems and service providers

AFP inquiries may be processed through shared customer-relationship-management and workflow infrastructure also used for Bene Esse and Commonweave-related activities.

The website and forms use technology provided through GoHighLevel / LeadConnector and associated service providers. These providers may process information to deliver hosting, form submissions, communications, automation, and related technical services.

Sharing infrastructure does not mean that every person submitting an AFP inquiry is applying to a Bene Esse program or enrolling in a Commonweave service.

5. Information sharing

Information may be accessible to authorized people involved in responding to your inquiry and to providers supporting the relevant systems. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, and operations.

We do not treat submission of an AFP inquiry as permission to publicly publish your personal information or project proposal.

6. Email and text communications

We may send transactional or service-related messages about inquiries you submit. Promotional email or text messages, where offered, are governed by the consent language presented on the relevant form and applicable law.

You may opt out of promotional emails using an unsubscribe link, where provided. For automated text messages, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance, where those instructions apply to the messaging program.

Mobile opt-in data and consent for SMS messaging will not be sold or shared with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Information may be shared with messaging providers as necessary to deliver requested communications.

7. Cookies and analytics

The website and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, security, performance, and analytics. You may manage certain cookie preferences through your browser or any consent controls made available on the website.

8. Data retention and security

We retain information as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, maintain appropriate records, operate our services, and satisfy applicable obligations.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your inquiry, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.

We will evaluate requests under applicable privacy laws and the responsibilities of the organizations handling the information.

10. External websites and services

Links to third-party sites, podcasts, marketplaces, and partner organizations may take you to services with independent privacy practices. Please review those policies before sharing information.

11. Children's privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as the website, its services, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the version currently posted.

13. Contact

For privacy questions, data requests, or concerns about information submitted through the AFP website, please use our contact page and identify your inquiry as a privacy request.

An important distinction: AFP is the name of the collaborative initiative, not a separate legal corporation. Participation in an AFP conversation does not automatically establish a contractual relationship with any participating organization.
