Terms of Service

The Anti-Fragile Playbook is an invitation to explore practical approaches to community development. These terms explain the conditions for using this website and its public resources.

Effective date: October 17, 2026

1. What the Anti-Fragile Playbook is

The Anti-Fragile Playbook ("AFP") is a collaborative community-development initiative and collection of related educational resources.

AFP is not itself a separately incorporated legal entity. The initiative draws upon work associated with Future Story Lab, 214 Alpha, Bene Esse, and other collaborators.

These terms govern use of this public website. They do not automatically govern separate applications, marketplaces, professional engagements, or services offered by participating organizations.

2. Use of the website

You may access and use this website for lawful informational, educational, and community-development purposes.

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or intentionally harmful.

3. Educational information, not guarantees

Articles, podcasts, case studies, examples, and other resources reflect ideas, experiences, research, and perspectives concerning community development.

They do not constitute individualized legal, financial, tax, investment, engineering, or other regulated professional advice.

No particular economic, organizational, or community outcome is guaranteed. Results depend on circumstances, participation, resources, and execution.

4. Inquiries and communications

Submitting a contact form or communicating with the AFP team does not, by itself, establish a client relationship, partnership, fiduciary relationship, or agreement to provide services.

Any paid engagement, licensed technology, consulting arrangement, or other formal service relationship should be governed by a separate agreement identifying the actual contracting parties.

5. Community pilots and participation

Information about the Tannehill Marketville Collective and other initiatives is provided to explain their objectives, development, and opportunities for participation.

Participation in any pilot, marketplace, membership program, or associated application may require separate registration, rules, agreements, or eligibility conditions.

Descriptions of proposed or planned functionality should not be understood as representations that every feature is currently available.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, original website text, branding, design, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Rights may belong to the relevant creators, licensors, or participating organizations.

You may share links to public pages and make reasonable quotations with appropriate attribution. Reproduction or commercial redistribution of substantial materials may require permission.

Third-party names, logos, photographs, and materials remain subject to their respective rights.

7. Material you submit

You are responsible for information you choose to submit through forms or communications.

By submitting an inquiry, you authorize its use for responding to your request and administering related communications as described in the Privacy Policy.

Submission does not transfer ownership of your original ideas, creative works, or project materials. Nor does it establish confidentiality obligations equivalent to a separately signed nondisclosure agreement.

Please avoid submitting highly sensitive or confidential information through a general website contact form.

8. Third-party websites and tools

This website may link to external websites, podcast platforms, community applications, and technology services.

Those services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control every aspect of third-party content or operations.

9. Electronic communications

By providing contact information, you may receive messages necessary to respond to your inquiry. Optional promotional communications are governed by the choices and disclosures presented on the relevant form and applicable law.

If you separately consent to automated text messaging, message frequency may vary, message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent to promotional messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

10. Availability and changes

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue website content and features as the initiative evolves. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Responsibility and limitations

This website and its informational materials are provided on an "as available" basis, subject to applicable law.

We make no promise that every statement will remain current, that every third-party link will continue to function, or that using the materials will produce a particular result.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any allocation of responsibility for separately contracted services belongs in the applicable agreement with the actual provider.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the website and associated activities evolve. The effective date above identifies the posted version.

13. Contact

Questions concerning these terms may be submitted through the AFP contact page.

About organizational identity: The Anti-Fragile Playbook is a collaborative initiative, not a separate legal corporation. Any agreement for paid services, intellectual-property licensing, technology access, or formal participation must identify the organization or person actually undertaking those obligations.
